In summary
South of Montpellier, between the sea and a typical Mediterranean garrigue landscape, this magnificent 18th century chateau with its 9th century Romanesque chapel is protected by 160 hectares of land, including 60 hectares of vines, and is nestled in a park of 3 hectares. It can accommodate 14 people, ideally 3 families (3 couples with children), and offers a swimming pool and tennis court. The interior of the castle was renovated in 2014, with a contemporary and uncluttered bias highlighting the volumes of the rooms, the designer furniture and the contemporary paintings hanging on the walls.
Indoors
Built in 1557 from a Renaissance building, the Château has been blessed with multiple additions and changes at the option of successive owners but has retained a harmonious architecture, astonishingly balanced and classical in order.

The main entrance leads to a corridor with a chequered floor leading to two vaulted rooms, with a living room to the left with a magnificent fireplace and a dining room to the right with a table and chairs made by a local craftsman. The corridor then leads to a superb and immense ballroom, furnished with sofas covered in Missoni fabrics and a royal piano. The 9th century chapel, magnificently renovated by Compagnons du devoir, adjoins this large room.
Access to a private terrace, partly covered, partly uncovered with views over the park, provides well-deserved moments of idleness.
Outdoors
A large park, designed and planted in the 19th century, surrounds the castle and serves as a haven for many birds.
Along the alleys, you will find both fountains and a fish pond filled with carp, which undoubtedly gives the estate a princely allure and numerous fruit trees (fig trees, pear trees, apple trees).
You can swim in the swimming pool (17m x 8m), take a walk in the park or play a game of tennis. A pool house has a changing room and a shower.
The chateau also has bicycles that you can borrow to explore the landscape around the vineyards.
Service and staff
Daily housekeeping and a French breakfast are included with your stay. If you want to have kitchen staff available for every meal this can of course be arranged.
Our chefs focus on local produce and often incorporate herbs and fruits from the garden into their dishes.
