This superb contemporary style villa is located in the beautiful area of Caminha in an elevated position that gives outstanding views of the sea and Minho river. There are several sandy beaches within a short drive.
Hi-tec in style and very well-equipped with lovely light rooms allowing the indoor and outdoor living spaces to merge into one. The interiors have been tastefully furnished with great care in a relaxing yet elegant style. The house has also been equipped with all modern facilities; the kitchen is very well appointed and connects to the living room with doors opening onto a large terrace ideal for alfresco dining. The spacious lawned garden offer the guests many lovely corners where they can sit outside and enjoy the spectacular views over the ocean.
Extra services are available on request such as Chef for traditional Portuguese cuisine, winetasting courses, masseur, beautician, organisation of guided tours to nearby attractions with stops in typical places and local olive oil and wine tasting, horse riding, golf, water sports, etc.

Extremely easy to reach (only 60 minute drive from Porto international airport or from Vigo - Spain - airport) Villa Castanheiro is in an absolutely central position: only 2.5 kms away from Moledo beach - from the train station you can travel to Vigo in Spain or south to Viana do Castelo historic centre - and 1.5 kms from the old roman town of Caminha (with various good quality restaurants, cafes, bars, lively promenades and open air esplanades around the Lima river's waterfront) and 30 kms from the delightful old historic town of Viana do Castelo, famous for its ancient monuments and long sandy beaches. Basic facilities such as a minimarket, shops, restaurants, etc, can be found within a 20 minute walk.

Espace, emplacement, vue.
Quelques soucis techniques : éclairage, eau chaude, frigo, grille pain.
Es una casa estupenda para disfrutar de unos días de vacaciones con buenas playas a 15 minutos en coche.
Great Villa
Very steep hill to acces the property. the wifi never worked even though we complained. We had to pay £100 roaming charges because of this problem.
The view was Great. House size is nice. House needs updating.
Suggestions. The pool was to be heated before i arrived instead Sergio put it on when we arrived it did not heat up much.. pool is in a closed area does not get sun website had a different picrure. We used it for Two hours. Cracks in glass Doors. No complimentary Highchair.No umberella just Base .No cushion for lounge chairs. Black mould under shower mat.Tile in kitchen not even. No Bar B Q I have a photo it looks like garbage beside house . Grass should have been cut. Broken kids chair on patio. It was very cold first two days the weather was unseasonably cold,it would have been nice to have heat but it was unavailable.Dryer was covered an we were told it was broken.
